Capital novel, although it is pretty predictable at the end. Would recommend it to anybody.
Some interesting annals about NYC but I can't say I enjoyed how Tosches told the feature.
So interesting - detailed tale about the dust storms in the Mammoth Plateaus during and after the Depression. The author interviews people who stayed there (and did not move out west), and palavers a part about the biography of settlement and environmental tampers with which contributed to the storms.
Double time reading this. It's still one of my favorite books of all time.
