Really enjoying the run. Since I already saw the movies, though, I think it has reduced my book-learning satisfaction just a little bit.
The second in the Vicky Paradises yarns. In my imagining, initiate here. The first is unnecessary and any important points are covered in all of the ensuing books. We meet the excellent, romantic, devoted John Smythe here. Imbed girly sigh here.
This is written by the same ink slinger of "Fundamental Rip". I liked this one much better. This is a medical tension you won't want to put down.
Totally enjoyable, she has her shit together way more that she wants the reader to believe (for the purpose of being more relatable) I think, but still entertaining. She does a good spot at taking really mundane, boring forebearances (growing up in the hinterlands, playing board games, etc.) and making them interesting in a writing grace that seems pretty effortless.
