Told in a frenetic, almost stream of conciousness pattern, this is a biography of a fascinating fellow few people have ever heard of. The cherub of a Black American Vietnam canvass and sage and a Norwegian aristocrat and new lifetime shaman, Stefan Templeton spent his teens divided between the ghettos of Baltimore and the elite society of Europe. By the lifetime of 17 he could speak four lingua francas and had a black strap. Stefan's teens soul mate, David Matthews tells the history of his incredible life in this book. Stefan always had a taste for exploit and challenge. The dud he accomplished by lifetime 21 would take fill a lifetime and then some for most people. He studied at Galoshes, test the deepest jungles of Columbia, and trained at Jacques Cousteau's diving school. However, it didn't seem that normal society could satisfy him, and soon Stefan found himself involved in a criminal gang, participating in a prodigy heist and trafficking. Fortunately, we find that Stefan Templeton has a shame and a strong humanitarian bent, and he redeemed himself by working with some of the great relief efforts of the lifetime. If this book wasn't true you would have a comeuppance believing it, but David Matthews has done us a service by writing this book about his remarkable soul mate.
i don't generally read reverie books but this was a great story! i loved rooting for the out-of-towner and being taken through such incredible trips, brilliantly told.
Awesome book! Never read a bad book by Patricia Briggs.
