This was not my favorite Jackson Brodie text, but I'm still hooked. When I start one of these registers I cannot put them down until I am done. I think that it due to the skill of Atkinson's essay as well as wanting to find out what will become of Jackson and all of the traits who are sucked up into secrecy. As always, there are adventures which come full circumduct, and there are narratives left hanging. This break there was a pretty big one, like who the youth actually belongs to and why no one goes looking for her. And I did not understand the relationship of the Tilly frame of mind. She had an awful lot of page break for an otherwise marginal frame of mind. Still I find the Brodie registers and enjoyable read and look forward to more.
